John Breckenridge works at the World Trade Organization (WTO) in Geneva, Switzerland. He is Secretary of the Pension Plan and also Financial Controller, Performance Management in the Administration and General Services Division of the WTO. Prior to becoming Secretary of the Pension Plan he served as a member of the WTO Pension Plan's Management Board. He serves on the Advisory Committee of the Swiss Chapter of the European Pension Fund Investment Forum (EPFIF), the Medical Insurance Management Committee of the WTO and represents the WTO on the Oversight Committee of the International Trade Centre, a joint agency of the WTO and UNCTAD. Previously, John has taught management-focused economics to MBA students, worked in state government and managed a financial planning practice among other things. He has a bachelor's degree in Chemistry from St. Olaf College and a Master's of Public and Private Management from Yale University.
